OCWAR-M has recruited two experts to support Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) with their application to the Egmont Group.
Marilyne Landry, a Francophone expert, will support the FIUs of Guinea, Guinea Bissau and Mauritania, and Global Risk Alliance, a UK-based firm of experts led by Stephen Tosh, will work with the FIUs of The Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone, in order to facilitate their successful application to the global club of FIUs.
The third training of trainers for AML-CFT criminal chain actors of the eleven Francophone and Lusophone countries covered by the project was held in Dakar from 1 to 3 December 2021. During these three days, the 55 participants enriched their knowledge on the second pillar of the training: the seizure and recovery of criminal assets.
