One of the key activities of the OCWAR-M project is the strengthening of the actors of the penal chain in its partner countries, particularly in Senegal, which benefits from an enhanced support as a pilot country. In this context, a college of national experts conducted a diagnosis of the country’s AML-CFT system and its weaknesses, and proposed an action plan to increase its effectiveness. These documents were presented and validated during a workshop held on June 29, 2021 in Dakar with thirty participants, under the auspices of the Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardons (DACG) of the Ministry of Justice and CENTIF.
